Workshops in the Potting Shed
We are very excited to be co-hosting workshops this year with local florist, Melissa of Whispers and Snippets. Melissa is passionate about using British flowers and she creates very beautiful things with the flowers we have grown.
These are the workshops planned for the coming months……….
Flower Farm Experience workshop : Seasonal Table Arrangement
This workshop will be held in our potting shed at the Flowers & Flock field near Hook Norton. I will start the morning with a walk around the flower plot and then it will be back to the potting shed to arrange your flowers with Melissa. You will be taught how to condition and arrange your flowers in a recycled vase that you can take home to enjoy. Melissa will show you techniques of how to arrange without floral foam in an eco friendly way. No previous floristry experience needed.
Ticket Price : £48pp
Includes all materials, fresh British flowers straight from the farm, a recycled vase to keep, a tour of the farm with Q&As and refreshments throughout the morning. To book, please contact us (limited spaces available).

Flower Farm Experience workshop : DIY Wedding
This workshop will be also be held in the potting shed at the Flowers & Flock field and start with a tour of the flower plot with me (Gill) and then back to the potting shed to arrange your flowers with Melissa. You will be taught how to arrange a buttonhole, small table arrangement and a garlanding demonstration using eco friendly techniques without the need for floral foam and arrangements that you can create in advance of your big day. You will be taught how to condition your flowers and Melissa will be happy to share her wedding florist knowledge with you to put your mind at ease for your big day.
